I know I’ve said it a million times (and if you are someone who has actually read my blog you are probably thinking to yourself she needs to stop writing this…) but I’m so incredibly lucky to have such amazing clients. When Marissa contacted me about photographing her wedding, it was pretty clear that we were long lost friends. We had many similarities personality wise and after a short time, we came to find out that she was actually the college roommate of a good friend of mine. So, like always, it came to be that a really awesome bride and groom combo landed on my wedding calendar.
Their wedding day was so well put together and thoroughly planned but to the extent that everything still went well when timing did get off track. Like with everything (at least I believe the primary task of a good wedding photographer), it is up to me to make & create beautiful photos from the situations & locations I am given to work with. There were just so many incredible moments with great backdrops that happened throughout the day that my job just felt easy. Marissa and Anthony both have incredible families and it was clear everyone there that day thought very highly of these two. Our only snag of the day was the good old crazy Raleigh traffic we ran into traveling from their beautiful ceremony location (St. Catherine of Siena Catholic Church) to their amazing reception location- The Umstead. Everything that was a part of their wedding- from Marissa’s wedding dress, Anthony’s attire, the bridesmaids dresses, and the details were so well done. I really believe it was the most perfect mix of elegance without being over done.
I have so many fond memories of their special day and thanks to our wonderful connection, we still keep in touch! I have also since taken some family photos for them I am currently waiting for a text message from them (any day now) letting me know their baby girl has arrived! I can’t wait to capture those special memories for them soon.
Thank you Marissa & Anthony for being such dream wedding clients and for your continued friendship today!
