I ended my 2018 with this lovely winter wedding. It came to be that Haley’s sister Dana (who happens to be client/friend/old neighbor of mine) texted me two weeks prior to the wedding asking me to call her. I had just sat down at my desk so I gave her a ring and she explained how her sister and fiancé decided (last minute) to have their wedding in North Carolina. They were desperately looking for a photographer and it just happened that I had moved a client from the day they needed me to another day. If that wasn’t a sign that this wedding was meant to be, then I am not sure what it was!!!
Haley is seriously one lucky girl because everyone in her family worked non-stop getting all the details arranged/lined up for their big day. I was shocked at just how lovely and amazing everything came together. Their use of Christmas trees and greenery was the perfect touch and they truly turned a plain white tent into a lovely space for a small, intimate wedding.
One of the MOST special moments during the entire day happened just after they were married (btw, Justin’s dad married them, how sweet is that?!). Justin is a phenomenal singer who is also a pastor, so he surprised all of the guests by sitting down at the piano and leading them in worship giving honor to the one who brought them together. I also found Hayley’s parents holding hands across the table during the ceremony. So much sweetness. Then there was Hayley and her sisters. Their bond is incredible… so.much.love. I could go on and on, but I will let the photos speak for themselves! Congratulations again Haley & Justin- you two make a lovely couple!
